Community Based Health and First Aid

Background

Community-based health and first aid (CBHFA) is aimed at creating a healthy community. It is a lifelong process, one that requires persistence and constant nurturing. Thus, it is an integrated community-based approach in which volunteers work with their communities in disease prevention, health promotion, first aid and disaster preparedness and response. In this context, CBHFA is the first of its kind in Bhutan.

The ToT Workshop has been aimed at building community capacity in terms of health and first aid.
