4 new cases detected over the last 24 hours.

3 are expatriate workers, all men, aged 40 to 54. They entered Bhutan on 14 Oct 2020 and are contacts of the previous positive cases. They are quarantined in Phuntsholing and will be moved to the isolation later today.

The other is a 70-year-old Bhutanese woman who had gone on a pilgrimage before lockdown and returned on 19th October 2020. She is quarantined in Phuntsholing and will be moved to the isolation later today.

DEFINITIONS:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.

b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.

c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
