Expressions of Interest

The Department of Disaster Management (DDM), Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs (MoHCA) is looking for the Local Consultant for Contextualizing Community Based Disaster Management Manual.

Activities to be carried out by the consultant:

• Review of the CBDRM facilitator and student manuals of other agencies including but not limited to IFRC, ADPC etc.
• Contextualize the CBDRM manual with a climate change focus for Bhutan
• Hold Discussion/meeting with the DDM and other relevant organizations for contextualizing the CBDRM manual
• Prepare standard power point presentations to be used for the CBDRM ToT at the dzongkhag/gewog levels
• Prepare any other materials as may be required for conducting CBDRM at the dzongkhag/gewog levels
• Work out the CBDRM ToT schedule including pre-planning stage as per DDM’s requirement.
