GIS and 72-hour RAA workshop (13-17/06/2022)

GIS workshop for 72-hour Rapid Assessment Approach (RAA) is held at Hotel Mayto, Langjophakha -Thimphu from June 13, 2022 to June 17, 2022. 72-hour RAA is a GIS based decision support tool  for aiding in informed decision making for effective response during disaster especially earthquakes etc.

The workshop participants included the Dzongkhag Disaster Management Officers (DDMOs) and District Statistical Officers (DSOs) as they are the ground personnel responsible for accessing the situation, collecting data, compiling and reporting the situation of disaster to the higher authorities.

A workshop is planned with the funding support from WFP-Bhutan.
