National Situational Update on COVID-19 (13/11/2020)

5 new cases detected over the last 24 hours.

First is an expatriate; a 40-year-old man who entered Bhutan on 29th October and is quarantined in Phuntsholing.

Three are Royal Bhutan Army officials aged 32 to 43 years who returned to Bhutan on 9th November 2020 from India. They are quarantined in Phuntsholing.

Fifth is a 19-year-old boy who was studying in India and returned to Bhutan on 9th November 2020. He is quarantined in Paro.

All of them are currently being moved to the isolation.

DEFINITIONS:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.
b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.
c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
