3 new cases detected yesterday.
First being the one that was declared last night on national television about the 36 year old from Phuntsholing through active surveillance.
Second is another 33-year-old man from Phuntsholing who is one of the contacts of the first positive case from the dry port and was under home quarantine.
Third is a 29-year-old Indian man detected through the ongoing mass testing in Phuntsholing.
1 person is being declared recovered and 2 have migrated to Inida.
This brings the total number of positive cases in Bhutan to 153 and total active cases to 45.
Definitions:
a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.
b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.
c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
