National Situational Update on COVID-19 (25-10-2020)

4 new cases detected over the last 24 hours.

Two are expatriate workers, both are men aged 25 and 28 years who entered Bhutan on 21st October 2020. The other two are Bhutanese, a 23-year-old woman and a 75-year-old man who returned from India on 19 October 2020. They are all quarantined in Phuntsholing and will be moved to isolation later today.

DEFINITIONS:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.

b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.

c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
