Department of Disaster Management Safe, Resilient and Happy Bhutan
The Department of Disaster Management and the World Food Program organized Practical Emergency Logistics Training from 10th to 13th December, 2018 on handling of Mobile Storage Unit (10m x 32m). Such facility will be used for setting up Humanitarian Staging Area during emergencies like major earthquakes for receiving, storage and distribution of relief materials. It could also be used as temporary shelter, emergency office, etc. The participants were from the Royal Bhutan Police, Desuung, Disaster Communication and Helpline Unit, Food Corporation of Bhutan and Fablab Bhutan.
