Public Notification

Starting 6am today (March 23, 2020), Royal Government of Bhutan will close all international borders.

1. No movement of vehicles across the borders except the authorized.
2. No Bhutanese shall be allowed to travel out of the country.
3. All incoming Bhutanese will be quarantined.
4. Exit will be allowed for non-Bhutanese.
5. Incoming non-Bhutanese will be scrutinized and quarantined where applicable.
6. Absolutely no movement of vehicles or people across informal routes.
7. The government will ensure the continued supply of all commodities.
