Fifteen new cases detected over the last 24 hours.

10 are IMTRAT personnel, all males aged 26 to 47 years and primary contacts of earlier cases. They have been in containment in the Red Zone of Phuntsholing.

4 are expatriate workers from India, all are men aged 28 to 55 years. They have been in facility quarantine in Paro.

Another is a 20-year-old Bhutanese woman who returned from the Middle East and has been quarantined in Thimphu.

All of them will be moved to the respective isolation facilities later today.

7 others are being declared recovered.

DEFINITIONS:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.
b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.
c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
