South-west monsoon is active over the country. Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been recorded over the southern belts of the country during the last 24 hours.
Active monsoon is likely to continue during the next 48 hours (26th and 27th June). Due to this the southern and eastern parts of the country is likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall while the rest parts of the country is likely to receive light to moderate rain during these periods. Gusty wind with thunderstorm is also likely over isolated places of the southern and eastern parts of the country.
