Signing over Handing Taking Papers-2017
The Department of Disaster Management has procured personal protective equipment (namely: safety mask (1500 Nos.), safety goggles (1500 Nos.) and safety hand gloves (1500 pairs)) for the personal safety of the firefighters and Search and Rescue personnel amounting to Nu. 10, 41,000.00/- (Ten Lakhs Fourty One Thousand only) under the Japan Policy and Human Resource Development (PHRD) Technical Assistance Program Project administered by World Bank.
The equipment has been handed over to Royal Bhutan Police, Royal Bhutan Army, De-Suung Office and Disaster Communication & Helpline Unit on 25th October 2017, which are involved in firefighting and Search and Rescue as first responder during disasters.
