National Situational Update on COVID-19 (04-11-2020)

Two new cases detected over the last 24 hours.

One is a 23-year old man an IMTRAT personnel who arrived Bhutan on 20th October 2020. The other is a 23-year-old Bhutanese woman who returned to Bhutan from India on 31st October 2020. Both are quarantined in Phuntsholing and will be moved to the isolation later today.

Meanwhile, 1 other person is being declared recovered.

DEFINITIONS:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.
b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.
c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
