A 39-year-old customs official tested positive yesterday in Phuntsholing. He is a primary contact of a case detected earlier and was in a quarantine facility since 11th September 2020. He will be moved to the isolation later today.
4 others are being declared recovered.
APPEAL: There are a number of holidays in the coming week therefore we request everyone to please be cautious at times and avoid mass gatherings and group activities.
Definitions:
a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.
b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.
c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
